SÉV was born from a friendship at University of California, Berkeley.
As MBA classmates and Asian immigrants, founders Sherry and Veronica shared more than just a rigorous academic journey. We shared a passion for self-expression and an eye for the intricate beauty of nail artistry.
The Realization: Beauty Shouldn't Be a Compromise
Living in the fast-paced American lifestyle, we noticed a void. Professional salon visits were a luxury of time that often left our natural nails weakened and damaged. On the other hand, mass-produced press-ons felt uninspired. They are flat, repetitive, and lacking the "soul" of true artistry.
